Ambassador Santorini Hotel opened in 2013 featuring luxurious spacious cave-like rooms, suites and villas, each with its own pool, and is situated in one if the lesser developed areas near the site of Akrotiri on the southern caldera cliffs of Santorini.
The island has been written about by poets and artists have tried to capture its beauty, but nothing can quite compare with the reality of this tiny magical Greek island siting in the Aegean Sea. So rich in history and steeped in myth, it is situated on the southern east tip of the Cyclades cluster of islands. Santorini experienced a catastrophic volcanic event in 1500BC, and it was once famous for its seafaring captains who mastered a thriving trade from Russia towards Italy, England and France. Today it is rated as one of the world’s top destinations. Good quality wine is produced here, and with stunning sunsets, smooth volcanic beaches, typical Cycladic stone architecture and white-washed buildings Santorini is a true gem of the Aegean.
Views from Ambassador are breathtaking as you gaze out to the Aegean Sea and the Caldera, especially in the evening when the world famous Santorini sunset is a sight to behold. The architecture follows cool white typical Aegean simple lines whilst interiors are elegant and sophisticated, current and stylish. Staff strive to deliver a service that is impeccable to even the most discerning guest. Relax by your own private pool, indulge in an invigorating Spa treatment at the onsite Thelma Spa, finish the day with a cocktail or two at the pool bar, and enjoy a Mediterranean feast at the Ambassador’s renowned Omega3 restaurant as you relax and absorb the stunning views.
Accommodation varies from amazing vaulted rooms which are reached by an arch shaped tunnel to one or two bedroom suites, villas with two or three bedrooms, and for a larger party of family and friends let’s not forget the seven bedroom Presidential Villa. Pools of the Serenity Suites, Ambassador Villas and the Honeymoon Suite are larger except for bigger pool of the Presidential Villa.
Hotel facilities include a helipad and helicopter services, Spa and Wellness Centre, horse riding, a gym, private jet service, electric cars, and an infinity pool with poolside furnished with sunbeds and umbrellas, and pool bar and a restaurant.
